Crofton House School Life
Rachel has attended Crofton House School since Kindergarten. In 2021, she received the Seanna and Nicole Strongman ‘All Rounder’ Award & Memorial Scholarship. The award and $5,000 scholarship is presented to a qualified student who showed dedication in five different categories: Leadership, School Citizenship, Community Service, Involvement in the Athletics and the Arts, and Academic Achievement.
Throughout her years at Crofton, she has participated in many extracurricular activities. Most notably, she began playing field hockey in Grade 6 and is now on Crofton’s Senior II team. As a team, they won the 2021 Independent Schools Association Provincial Field Hockey Championships. Additionally, she has participated in Track & Field since Grade 3.
Rachel has been part of Crofton’s Model United Nations (MUN) Club since Grade 8 and will be a MUN captain in the 2023-2024 academic year. She is also serving as the Secretary-General of CAHSMUN Horizons 2023 and the Under-Secretary-General Marketing of CAHSMUN 2024, two of the world’s most prominent MUN conferences.
Since Grade 8, she has played flute and been a first violin in the Crofton House School String Orchestra and, as of Grade 11, concertmaster.
